The course provides Chief Officers and Masters to develop and acquire thorough skills through a better understanding of the behavior of LNG carrier sailing in restricted water, narrow channels conditions at maneuvering speed.

Entry Requirements

This course is open to senior deck officers of Class 2 and 1 Certificate of Competency. Mandatory minimum requirements for certification of masters and chief mates on ships of 500 gross tonnage or more. Officer in charge of Navigational watch are encouraged to take this course.
