Advance LNG Training (ALNG)

Basic Oil & Chemical Training (BOCT) – 3 Days (FTF)

This course provides training for officers and ratings. It comprises a basic training appropriate to their duties, including oil and chemical tanker safety, fire safety measures and systems, pollution prevention, operational practice and obligations under applicable laws and regulations. The course takes full account of Section A-V/1-1 of the STCW Code 1978, as amended, including (2010 Manila Amendment).

Entry standards

This course is open to seafarers who have qualified in accordance with regulation Section AVI/1 of the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers. STCW 78 as amended (2010 Manila Amendment)

• Have valid Seafarer Identity Card
• Have valid Medical Certificate issued by an accredited Medical Practitioner Approved by Malaysia Marine Department
• Completed Basic Training.
