Radar ARPA Simulation (RAS) – 4.5 days – FTF/Online

This course’s objectives provide students with the knowledge, understanding & skills on the operation of radar and automatic radar plotting aids. (ARPA). It meets the performance standards in accordance with the mandatory minimum requirements specified in Table A-II/1 & B-1/12 of the STCW code 1978’ including (2010 Manila Amendment) and designed in accordance with IMO Model Course
1.07. A-II/2 and set out in table A-II/2 of the STCW Code. Compulsory modular course for COC deck class 1 and 2.

Entry Requirements

• Officers in charge of navigational watches on ships of 500 gross tonnage or more
• Have acquired a sea time of 12 months.
• Have valid Seafarer Identity Card
• Have valid Medical Certificate issued by an accredited Medical Practitioner by Malaysia Marine Department
