The course provides Chief Officers and Masters to develop and acquire thorough skills through a better understanding of the behavior of oil tanker sailing in restricted water conditions at maneuvering speed.

Entry Requirements

This course is open to senior deck officers of Class 2 and 1 Certificate of Competency. Mandatory minimum requirements for certification of masters and chief mates on ships of 500 gross tonnage or more. Junior officers are encouraged to take this course.
