Engine Room Resource Management (ERM)

Engine Resource Management (ERM) – 4 Days FTF /Online

This course complies with the STCW 1978 including (2010 Manila Amendment) convention that includes Code A-III/1, III/2 and Code B –III/1, III/2 of the convention covering areas on Engine Room Resource Management. The course is aimed at officers of the engineering watch (operational level), 2nd Engineer and Chief Engineer (management level). It provides senior and junior engineers the training in human element leadership and management with reflective Knowledge, Understanding and Proficiency (KUP).

Entry Requirements

• 6 months watch keeping experience as part of an engine room watch.
• Have valid Seafarer Identity Card
• Have valid Medical Certificate issued by an accredited Medical Practitioner by Malaysia Marine Department
