Basic LNG Training (BLNG) – 3 Days (FTF)

This course provides training for officers and ratings on duties for liquefied gas tanker safety, fire safety and cargo systems, safe operational practice and responsibilities under applicable laws and regulations. The course covers section A-V/1-2 of the STCW Code adopted by the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers as amended, including the Manila amendments 2010.

Entry Requirements

This course is open to seafarers who have qualified in accordance with regulation Section A-VI/1 of the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers 1978, including (2010 Manila Amendment)

• Have valid Seafarer Identity Card
• Have valid Medical Certificate issued by an accredited Medical Practitioner Approved by Malaysia Marine Department
• Completed Basic Training.
