General Operators Certificate (GOC)

Global Maritime Distress Safety System (GOC) – 10 Days

The course covers the training to meet the mandatory requirements for certification of GMDSS radio personnel as detailed in Section A-IV/2 of the International Convention of Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping of Seafarers (STCW) including (2010 Manila Amendment) and the requirements of ITU Regulations.

Entry Requirements

• Officers in charge of navigational watches on ships of 500 gross tonnage or more
• Have valid Seafarer Identity Card
• Have valid Medical Certificate issued by an accredited Medical Practitioner by Malaysia Marine Department
