Train The Trainer & Assessor (IMO 6.10) (6 – 12 Pax/Session)

This course provides a conceptual understanding of the importance of maritime education and simulator training with a view of the human element in shipping and the special working environment on board a ship. Trainees will understand the psychology of learning in a simulator, to design and conduct simulator-based training programs, including exercises and detailed briefing and debriefing.

Duration : 5 days

Entry Requirements

• The participant must have satisfactorily passed the Instructor Training course IMO 6.09
• 12 months shipboard service in the capacity as Certificated Watchkeeping Officer or Certificated Watchkeeping Engineering Officer.
• Approved and valid medical fitness certificate issued by an approved Malaysia Marine Department medical practitioner and
• A valid Seafarer Identification Card.
