Basic IGF (BIGF)

Basic IGF (BIGF) – 1.5 days – Online

This course provides the basic safety, knowledge and understanding of ship crew who serve onboard a ship subject to IGF Code mainly using LNG as fuel. It meets the requirements of Resolution MSC.397(95) amendment to part A, chapter V of the STCW Convention on Special training requirements, which are provided in tables A-V/3-1.

Entry Requirements

This course is provided to seafarers in control of designated safety duties associated with the care, use or in emergency response to the fuel on board ships subject to the IGF code.

• Have valid Seafarer Identity Card
• Have valid Medical Certificate issued by an accredited Medical Practitioner by Malaysia Marine Department
